This is an NOS poster created by John Jordal, Electro-Motive last styling artist in 1997 to celebrate BNSF\'s Heritage paint scheme after their acquisition of the Santa Fe Railroad. It\'s a cool poster as it features both the new SD70IAC with an F3A locomotives. It is also unusual as the subject matter is in a vertical format.
When I first met John, he was working in EMD\'s Engineering Department. I was working in EMD\'s Service Department Training Center and we needed a cutaway poster for teaching turbocharger theory. He created that poster probably in the mid-1980\'s.
A few years later, we reversed positions with John moving to the Service Department and I moving to Engineering. We continued our relationship with John and I working together to create a series of coffee mugs using his artwork. We did make a coffee mug from this painting.
Poster is on high grade paper and measures 16\" x 20\". Painting is named \"Reflection of Time\". Poster and COA are both signed by John.See my other listing for a couple of pieces of other posters created by John.
