Amazing rare 2002-2003 license plates in VG++ - Excellent condition. No rust, a couple of minor dings. What makes these so rare? - Ohio Bicentennial. - Complete set. - Complete provenance (including State recall letters!) - Amazing condition. As the story goes, these plates were issued legally to the driver but at the one year renewal mark the State discovered what appears to be an offensive plate and they refused the renewal. After that they began threatening the owner until a special investigations team was called in to rectify the circumstances. At the conclusion, the plates disappeared from the public. All letters and registration renewal documentation included.This is a very rare opportunity to own a testament to free speech and near universal sentiment.Will be shipped immaculately.
