Low numbered series hand colored by artist Misha Moracha in the late 70’s.
A nice original embossed etching with intaglio done by listed artist Misha Moracha. He was born in Yugoslavia and traveled to Paris and California to continue his art studies and work. His work has been exhibited in numerous galleries across the US and his work is in the collection of many museums and celebrities.
This colored etching features an embossed resting lion overlooking the African plain with grass and mountains seen with a setting yellow sun.
The detail is very nice on this multi color artwork.
His signature art is mounted in a narrow teal blue frame behind glass and measures 22" wide by 14" tall framed. The visible matted art work measures 7" tall by 15.75" wide.
The etching is signed in pencil on the lower border Night of the Lion - numbered 24/200 and signed Misha.
The back of the artwork retains a Certificate of Authenticity and gallery label from the Royal Arts Gallery in Chatsworth California
