For sale is a vintage 1950s Emerson model 575A 2-tone brown plastic AM band portable radio. Cosmetically excellent. Very very few minor signs of wear. The only cosmetic issue is the dial needs to be secured better because as it is, the dial indicator is rubbing against the dial causing a minor scratches to the dial paint. That’s it. The power cord is like new, very flexible and usable. When plugged in, the set came on an the tubes lit up. But there was no reception, just barely audible white noise. Tubes are correct. Knobs turn as they should as does the dial indicator except when the dial indicator rubs against the dial and won’t move further. No odors, rust or mice nests.
