NICE VINTAGE NATIVE AMERICAN BEADED BOTTLE: $200.00
SORRY, BUT I DON’T SHIP OUT OF THE UNITED STATES, SO USA BUYER’S ONLY!INTROI don’t claim to be any sort of expert (by any means), but I’ve been specializing in collecting, buying & selling Native American things since the 1970’s, so I do know a bit about the different subjects! I mostly have been collecting Artifacts, Northwest Coast objects, Baskets & some Beadwork here & there. And on top of that I have quite a bit of all positive response selling on & always take things back if a buyer is not satisfied in any sort of way (which is a very rare occurrence)!I’m a retired graphic artist by profession, have lived all over the United States, have walked many fields Artifact hunting gone to many shows, sales & studied the subjects I specialize in allot! From the 1980’s onwards! I was the Minnesota Chapter Editor of the Central States Archaeological Journal, and from 2000 onwards & I also illustrated & designed a children’s coloring book on Northwest Coast Art, which was published & sold all over The United States in 1992 onwards in most of the National Parks & Book Stores in the US!DESCRIPTION OF WHAT I”M SELLINGThis is a nice three sided beaded bottle! I’ve had this bottle for over thirty five years (as it was one of the first Native American objects I ever collected)! Not sure of it origin as I’m more a Basket & Artifacts guy, although I collect many other Native American objects as well! Would probably guess it’s Paiute, but that just a guess as the Paiute, seem to do beaded bottles more than any other tribes. Although the design reminds me more of a California basket design which I collect more than other Native American stuff and if I remember rightly I bought it when I still lived in Northern California! I know it’s Native American because of deer-hide bottom.I’ve had for so long because it’s unusual in the sense that it’s three sided bottle & well as I really l though it was cool that the maker use a old wood stuffed thimble for the stopper! On top of that it’s in pristine condition (can’t find a broken stitch on it anywhere & like I said I’ve had it for over thirty years so it’s got to have some age to it).Anyway it’s 7.5” tall including the stopper & about 2.75” wide at the base on a old 3 sided clear bottle! Can’t remember what I paid for it but I know any decent Native American beaded bottle will go for $150 & up, so that’s what I’m willing to let it go for & if you’re a bottle collector, it’s probably going to be a good deal! Thank you for your time & consideration, good luck if you’ll be offerding & most of all either way keep yourself & loved ones in good health & humor! Best regards Richard (Tom) Smith
