HERE\'S a nice looking1965 New Mexico license plate.Please note the 2 extra holes.I believe this one would have beenoriginally issued in Bernalillo county based on the #2 prefix. FYI; This is irrelevant to the NM DMV for re-registration.
Please do your homework if you are planning to re-register this to your 1965 NM classic car. My understanding is that ALL plates are \"available\", (even if someone else has the same #).I do know only a single plate is needed, but there may be other subtle guidelines, for instance, 1966 classic car might require a \'66 sticker on a \'65 base plate, (as is the case in CA).
