For sale is a RARE and beautiful antique Handmade hand made and artist painted fishing store trademark/ store sign with a highly decorative fish design in the center surrounded by large corner color blocks. I am no expert on fish, but I would guess it to be either salmon or trout.
The painting is done on a iron sheet attached to the thick wooden slab. The fish form is also painted on a sheet metal cut out. All original paint. No touch up. It is also well weathered by age and exposure, great patina! There is a steel cable on the back, ready to hang!
Overall, a fine example of old hand painted store sign that can be either used as a home decoration for a fishing enthusiast or reused as a trade sign for your restaurant or fishing store.
It measures approximately 17” wide and about 22” tall. It in solid antique condition. Please check all photos for detailed condition before committing to buy.
