Up for your consideration is a new, never used 1984 Orrefors (of Sweden) crystal Christmas ornament in the shape of a dove. This ornament is known as the Dove of Peace and may be the first in this series of ornaments. In the center of the ornament is a etched design of holly leaves and berries and the year 1984. The bird ornament has a hole at the top end, through which has been threaded a red grosgrain ribbon for hanging it. It comes with its original box with a molded interior that fits the ornament exactly.The ornament \"stands\" 2 3/4 inches tall, measures about 3 inches across, and weighs 5 1/4 ounces in the box.
The back side of the wing has been acid etched with the Orrefors name. The front of the box reads: Orrefors - holly leaves & berries symbol - 1984.The ornament is in excellent, new condition, with no chips or cracks. There are no signs of wear or use. The box shows signs of wear.Please see all the photos.
