\"2023 will see the much-anticipated arrival of Kikkoman’s latest limited-edition dispenser bottle on supermarket shelves.

An attractive “Momiji” theme is printed right onto the glass of the iconic 150ml Kikkoman Soy Sauce bottles. Momiji is the word for the red-tinted maple leaves that are so synonymous with the Japanese autumn. It’s Kikkoman’s fourth limited edition design which has been released annually since 2020.

The carefully chosen images combine a branch of golden Japanese maple leaves over a deep-golden bridge which symbolise the binding of cultures, people and tastes. The bright round moon that’s reflected in the water represents the wonder of nature. These themes are further harmonised by the autumnal hues that match perfectly with orange of the Kikkoman logo and the red-coloured cap.

Viewing the spectacular autumn leaves is a big event all over Japan. As with the cherry blossom of spring, the appreciation of natural phenomena across the four seasons has been a part of Japanese culture for more than 1,000 years. It is also evident in its food culture, with the purity of nature embedded in the history and heritage of Kikkoman Soy Sauce. It is made with just four pure ingredients (soybeans, wheat, salt and water) and naturally brewed for several months.

Previous collectable Kikkoman dispenser bottle designs featured the pink cherry blossom “Sakura” in 2020, followed by the majestic crane on a pine branch in 2021, and enchanting koi carp and lotus flower in 2022.
