NASA Space Shuttle Mid-Deck Cushion Assembly Extended Seat Crew Escape Flown?:

Being offered as surplus to the needs of NASA JSC is this Rare Space Shuttle seat cushion assembly, measuring 15.5″ x 14.5″ x 1.5″, with identification tag sewn on the bottom: \"Cushion Assembly, Extended Seat, Crew Escape Equip, P/N SED39115547-701.\" The cushion has a notched-edge design and features a memory foam pad over a rigid internal structure, with four large Velcro tabs sewn on the bottom. I believe this was from the mid-deck seating, and it was also designed to be a flotation device if needed. Flown status is unknown.In fine condition.
