This is a NASA Apollo Era Frequency Converter and is ground support equipment. It is manufactured by Hewlett Packard and the part number is 5254A. It measures 4.75\" X 4 1/2\" X 8.5\". There is a tag on the Frequency Converter that reads \"NASA KSC Not In Use 86 05 02\". There are also a couple of other NASA inventory tags on the Frequency Converter! This item may have also been in use early in the Space Shuttle era, but the design is similar to other Hewlett Packard items from the 1960\'s.. This is an item from the estate of Charles Bell a long time NASA employee. The original sale took place in May, 2000. I have two of these similar Frequency Converters listed for sale. Besides these two, I haven\'t seen another of these offered from the Charles Bell estate. Check out my other listings for more historically important NASA items for sale!
