This isNAPOLEONIC WARENGLAND / BRITISHOFICER SWORD.This sword is about 200 years old.Sword is used but in good condition. Its length 35,5 inches or 91 cm. Length of blade 31 inches or 79 cm. Blade has mark: G G( see picture). British sword from the period 1796-1816 are ofter "G "or "GG" stamp on the ricasso.
Stamped "GG" to the forte / ricasso, name is one for Henry Osborn and the "GG" is a guarantee mark (British makers of the era were keen to express the superiority of their blades). The blade has a dark patina from time.Sword has wooden handles.Handle has little breakage at the end( see picture).Sword has metal guard.
