The fax in 1995 you see was my first contact. It is not a good one since it was received on \"thermal fax paper\" which was common during that time. The letter of course was on regular letterhead.

Ms. Masey passed on any comments that Mr. Hawking made for her to pass on due to the severity of his handicap.For example in the same year of 1995 The Face magazine had asked Mr. Hawking for a time travel formula. An answer was faxed back to the magazine at which time he instructed Ms. Masey to respond accordingly \"Thank you for your recent fax. I do not have any equations for time travel. If I had, I would win the National Lottery every week\". I point this out since it was common for Professor Hawking to instruct Ms. Masey of a thought or a statement via fax at that time.

I will also enclose a copy of the poem \"A Major Shift Of Epoch\" that I asked and received permission to dedicate it to Professor Hawking.
