Mark Jeweler Advertisement Insert Variant. Cover pencils by Dave Cockrum, inks by Joe Sinnott. Call Me Death-Bird!, script by Chris Claremont, pencils by Keith Pollard (breakdowns), Joe Sinnot (finished art), and Sam Grainger (finished art), inks by Joe Sinnott (pages 1, 3-6, 11) and Sam Grainger (pages 2, 7-10, 14-31); Deathbird tries to take down Ms. Marvel on orders from Modok; 1st appearance of Death-Bird. Including Death-Bird, Chris Claremont introduced a few characters in this series that would later become popular X-Men mainstays. Ms. Marvel's costume covers her stomach now. 36 pgs. $0.30.
