This portico clock is by far the nicest I have ever come across. This beautiful clock measures 20.5\" tall by 10.3\" wide. This clock has marvelous inlay with a hunting dogs scene below the pendulum. The pendulum in and of itself is also a work of art with the dolphins showing astounding amounts of detail. This clock is made by the very famous french clock maker Balthazard. The movement on this clock is very clean and was just serviced. This clock runs very well with a bell that dings at the half hour and at the hour. This clock is in very nice condition for its immense age. There is one chip on the top right corner which is pictured along with some minor chips. Almost all of the inlay on this clock is prefect only missing a few small bars of inlay on the bottom of the base which are incredibly hard to notice. This clock has absolutely stunning columns with absolutely amazing floral inlay, the columns are in very nice condition with some minor hidden ware on the back right column which is hidden mainly by the clock movement. If this clock was perfect I would be asking much more than this, this clock is not only made to the best possible quality but also by one of the best french clock makers. I would date this clock from 1790\'s-1850\'s. This clock is priced to sell and is expected to move quickly.
