Montana 200 (MT-200) is the longest state route in the United States, coming in at 706.272 mi (1,136.635 km). It is a part of the multi-state route 200 that traverses Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, and Minnesota and was originally a series of smaller state and federal routes throughout the years. This road starts at the end of Idaho 200, near Heron, and goes across the widest part of Montana, through Great Falls and Missoula, to the beginning of North Dakota 200, near Fairview at the state line. This route also crosses with the Lewis and Clark National Historical Trail as it runs through Montana. An original of these is very rare to find scrapped; most of them enjoy their active service on the highway and the side streets.
