This is a beautiful High Quality Moldavite Tektite Specimen with a very unique shape. The weight of this specimen is 3.67 grams/18.35 carats. The measurements are just under 1.0” wide and just under 0.75” long. Comes with a display case and a velvet carrying bag.

Moldavite is a member of the tektite group, a glassy mixture of aluminum oxide, silicon dioxide and other metal oxides. It’s has a hardness of about 6. The color of most Moldavite is deep forest green, though some are a paler green than others. Moldavite was formed when a large meteor crashed down in what is now the Bohemian plateau of the Czech Republic, around 14.8 million years ago.
