The most valuable part of any sword is its blade, with this T10 sword blade certainly forming a premium foundational core of this deadly Ko-Wakizashi. T10 is the highest carbon content steel used for sword making and is arguably the best steel available for a true combat sword.

Characteristics include a hard, reliable battle edge, which will hold its edge and stay sharp for longer than any other steel used for swordsmithing. Furthermore, the blade encapsulates good resilience and elasticity, as one would expect from any combat functional blade.

Further promoting perfection, is the very difficult process of clay tempering the blade. This process precisely facilitates hardening of the blade\'s edge, while leaving the blade\'s core and spine softer and thus resilient. Definitely a marker of advanced Japanese sword making technology and visibly identifiable on this sword\'s blade.

The lacquered hardwood scabbard and quality sword fittings, complement the sword nicely. And the hardwood, wrapped with synthetic leather & quality polyester cord form a traditional sword aesthetic and very effective Japanese Samurai handle grip.
