This set is unique due to the fact that it was produced for the Canadian government. You will notice that the exciter has an ID tag stating as such. Also on the amplifier, please note the Canadian modification/upgrade data plate, which is essentially the same as the United States version of an MWO data plate.

This set is turnkey and ready to put into operation as can be seen in the video referenced below.

Being offered is a complete 106 set as shown in the early olive drab color. Both the transceiver/exciter and the amplifier have been thoroughly gone through with all motors/servos cleaned and lubricated. All common issues that these sets are known for have been addressed and corrected. All contacts such as turret/stator etc. have been cleaned. Power output is to spec. This unit was tested on the air with great signal reports. Here is your chance to own a GRC-106 set that is plug and play with the goodies included! In addition, a custom comprehensive tuning chart was compiled and printed based on a 50 ohm load over a wide spectrum of frequencies. This chart is specific to this exact rig. This helps to take a lot of frustrating guesswork out of tuning up.
