I don\'t know much about this thing, I picked it up at a rural sale in western NY state in 2001.
I was attracted to the mid century price tag which is still affixed. I cannot guarantee that it is a mid century piece, it may have been an older item on clearance at the time.
There certainly is some handiwork in this thing. Two types of metal, a ceramic disc with a -- naughty? -- illustration. There\'s some sort of orange rubber gasket or cushion between the ceramic and metal.
Whereas this is 50-75 years old (a conservative estimate) and a very difficult piece to match with any decor these days (unless you have a frou-frou fancy dungeon or an Addams Family house) I am offering it at a $11.95 starting offer to reflect that half century old price tag with a flat rate $8.05 shipping fee ($20).
