Mid-Century Modern ERNEST SOHN Wood Serving Tray, ENAMEL On COPPER Panels Mid-Century Modern ERNEST SOHN Wood Serving Tray, ENAMEL On COPPER Panels Click images to enlarge Description MID-CENTURY MODERN SERVING TRAY Neat vintage mid-century modern wood (I think teak) serving tray measuring 9\" wide, 8\" deep and about 5\" tall to the handle top. Featuring lovely blue/green stylized tree decoration enameled onto copper panels and mounted into the tray base, it is signed ERNEST SOHN (paper name taped onto the back can simply be removed).
Condition is lovely with no chips, discoloration or damage to the enameled panels - handle has goldtone finish loss and wood could use a polish as it is slightly dull - I think there might have been glass inserts at one time. My Mom served crackers on this tray for her bridge parties -- deep enough so contents would not spill out, and easy to carry via the handle.
