With a striking vibe of mid century...it is a textile that happened right about the 1958-1960 mark...and a good possibility earlier near 1955. It was the advent of Scotchgard...which was just starting to be marketed by 1954...and this fabric while it has a traditional selvedge signature consistent with the 1940's...it also had the Scotchgard label. If you like these fabulous Atomic designs and are also smitten with the Bohemian Tiki styles...this one sort of tells a tale...I call it Surf pad because it has that vibe to me...wild and fun atomic geometric shapes with space age oblong designs in the shapes of surf boards. Perfect for any mid century or atomic homes.

This offering is for ONE unused unwashed pillow size remnant of textured barkcloth linen cotton...it measures 30 inches wide x 20 inches long...a heavy weight mostly cotton with a mix of something else that makes it very commercial and sturdy for any project from pillows to upholstery...to drapery. Take notice of the beautiful aquamarine...deep cobalt and handsome navy blues...with creamy turquoise and aquas...chartreuse lime...on a creamy eggshell white ground. The selvedge is signed "Scotchgard Vat Colors". You can expect this piece to be in brand new condition as if right off the print machine.
