Up for sale today is this Lansing, Michigan Capitol Loop sign. Made to the exact standards as used from 1989 to 2024 in Michigan\'s capital.

The Capitol Loop (which was carried on the books as a business loop of I-496) is a route formerly marked through the core of Lansing. Many of Michigan\'s state government institutions could be found along the route, such as the Michigan Supreme Court and the Library of Michigan. The state capitol building was too far from the loop, either.

An original of these is very rare to find scrapped. They were removed from the roads of Lansing in 2024 when the city took over ownership of the road. So here is your chance to own an excellent display piece, without paying an arm and a leg on the collector\'s market.

The sign is 24 by 24 inches, and weighs 14 lb. 10 oz..

This is a high quality, heavy steel sign. Accept no imitations that may be one-third this price, but are one-tenth the quality. No cheap tin to be found here, with the wrong fonts, layouts, size, shape, or any other manner of embarrassing imperfection. This one will make even the most discerning collector stick their nose into the sign, as it looks that good from that close!
