For sale here is a large matchbook from Stan Musial and Biggies Steak and Lobster House in St. Louis, Missouri. All eleven matches are in place. The matchbook is 4-1/4\" tall x 3-3/8\" wide. The matches, from the break off point to the red tip, measure 3-1/8\" long.
Pre-owned. Clean and intact. It seems Uncle Paul’s (see below) widow hand wrote “Oct 22, 23, & 24th, 55\" (as in 1955) on the front of it, no doubt the dates of their trip to St. Louis.
From the estate of our Uncle Paul, born in 1927, who collected all kinds of things in Denver, Colorado, from the mid-1950s until his untimely death in the mid-1980s. It’s going to take us a LONG time to liquidate the estate, so we invite you to keep watching for our listings.
