Description

1st printing. "Round 2!" Part 2 of 4. Story by Peter David (with special thanks to Ron Marz). Art by Dan Jurgens, Claudio Castellini, Joe Rubenstein, and Paul Neary. In this issue the Lord of Apokolips, Darkseid, confronts the nihilistic Thanos in a battle of ultimate evil. Captain America trades blows with the Venom enhanced Bane, and Wolverine rips through the streets of Gotham in a savage battle with Killer Croc. But, these are just the preliminaries. Thor, the mighty Norse god of thunder, battles Captain Marvel, the emissary of the wizard Shazam and embodiment of Olympian power. Namor, the Savage Sub-Mariner, tangles with Aquaman. Finally, the Flash, Fastest Man Alive and caretaker of the Speedforce, battles the hot-headed Quicksilver. Includes a scoreboard to keep track of the outcomes and dossiers for Jubilee, Robin, Flash, Quicksilver, Thor, Captain Marvel, Catwoman, Elektra, Silver Surfer, Green Lantern, Aquaman, and Sub-Mariner.
