This item is part of a comic book collection, acquired in the 1960s and 1970s. The comics were for the most part, purchased from a comic book store. The Conan series was the initial reason for purchasing the comics. However, the comic storeowner asked if there was the interest in other comics and if she could put them aside for purchase. Thus, the collection grew. The comics have not been owned by anyone else and many have never been read. We are now selling these through and hope that they will enhance someone\'s collection.

The Mandarin gives him a more powerful sword and sends an image of Iron Man to the Avengers, vouching for the Swordsman for membership. Once in the Avengers HQ, Swordsman plants bombs to destroy them. Cover and story reprinted from (Avengers 1963 1st series) number 20. Full color. 32 pages. Cover price $0.20.
