A sweet copy of this early Mad classic from 1956 -- just after it had switched to magazine format! This issue has in my opinion the best cover art in the history of the magazine. A classic design by Jack Davis featuring all kinds of contemporary figures from the mid \'50\'s including a small early rendition of Alfred E. Neuman. Although I\'m not a professional grader, I would give this copy a grade of Very Good/Fine, although it may grade higher. PLEASE SEE THE PICTURES. There is a slight hint of a forward roll. The magazine has intact staples and pages throughout. There is light to moderate wear and creasing to the front cover. There are stress lines and tiny tears to the spine with some blunting/tearing on the tips. The pages are in nice condition with very slight signs of aging. There is moderate wear and creasing of the back cover with a tiny piece missing from the bottom right corner near the spine and some creasing on the bottom edge with a slight tear. This is a nice copy of a very famous issue of Mad from the 1950\'s!
