MYSTERIOUS IRON ROCK WITH MIRRORED SURFACESOLID PURE IRON ROCK 99% PURE4,902 grams = 11 pounds measuring 5 1/2\" x 4 1/2\" x 3 1/4\" METEORITE ???? NATIVE IRON ?????

SEE PHOTO OF THE REFLECTION OF A MORGAN SILVER DOLLAR ON THE >>MIRRORSURFACE << PHOTO #2

THIS SPECIMEN IS CLEAVED. STEEL DOESN\'T CLEAVE.

THE STORY IS THIS PIECE GOT STUCK IN MINING EQUIPMENT UNDERGROUND IN A WESTERN US MINE. HENCE THE SMALL DENTS.

With fusion crust, magnetic, no bubbles, shiny parts showing through, regmaglypts, no streaks on tile back. This waspurported to have beenfound in a Western USA mine,

underground in the 1950s. Thenpurchased in 1970by an eccentric collector from a rock and precious metal dealer. The detail of this solid iron rock is awesome and intriguing.

This specimen was TESTED at the open slice of the interior with a Thermo Scientific Niton (XRF) gun at a testingcenter.too low of a nickel content to be a meteorite. According to the experts.

Trying to get opinions on this UNUSUAL piece:

Geologists refereed me to Meteorite people. Meteorite people refereed me to Metallurgist. Metallurgists refereed me to testing labs. Testing Labs refereed me to Iron Foundries and Iron Foundries referred me to Geologists . Everyone wasconfused and baffled.

PS I have contacted NASA have not heard back yet.

I cannot find another Solid Iron / Steel rock with this detail that was man-made. I contacted Iron Foundries they do have have one, norhave seen one or can make one. Many called it \"slag\" slag is a by product of iron NOT 999% PURE IRONa foundry wouldnot throw this pure iron piece away as slag.

If there were man-made rocks of iron there would be lots of them.

*** SHOW ME ANOTHER *** WITH A MIRRORED SURFACE ***** MANY HAVE TRIED NO ONE YET HAS SHOWN ME ONE YET!

This piece has been called \"bog iron\" \"native iron\" \"mine waste\" \"satellitedebris\" \"telluric iron.\"

The open window looks like a Chinga Meteor, a shiny reflectivesurface and acid testing similar to a Chinga result no widmanstatten pattern.

Chinga specimens are 16% Ni unlike this one. The open window on this piece is not rusting or changing appearance in its untreated state.

I do not want to bead-blast the patina or burned parts to reveal shiny metal in the shape of a rock.

Destroying a possible RARE find. ALTHOUGH that would look really cool.

I need help with this, any information is greatly appreciated.
