Up for sale is a brand new Vintage 1979 7-Up Larry Bird rookie year promotional sticker decal. This sticker is in mint condition and was never in circulation. We acquired this directly from 7-Up back in 1979 prior to campaign release. This sticker was part of a 6 sticker set released by 7-Up in 1979.

While some say 1978 was Bird’s rookie year, Bird was drafted by the Celtics after his junior year at Indiana State (1978) but did not play professionally until the 1979–80 season, when he won the Rookie of the Year award after contributing to one of the largest single-season turnarounds in NBA history (a 32-win improvement).
Stamping process during manufacturing of this sticker has from front to back and stamped through back of sticker paper in some places. Look at picture #6.
