<P> This is a collection of 40 different species of micromounts or micro minerals from various parts of the world. They require a X20 to X40 binocular microscope to observe and enjoy. If you do not have such a microscope, you are advised not to offer on this item else you may be disappointed. The specimens are all mounted in European type plastic boxes 1 inch by 1 inch by 0.8 inch (2.5 by 2.5 cms by 2 cms) specially designed for micromounting and include labels with the species name in the front and more information such as locality on the back. The specimens are quick mounted using mineral tack so they can be easily removed and remounted using your favorite mounting technique. The vast majority are crystallized or botryoidal, but some may be massive.
