CONDITION: Very Good Condition. One vertical fold. The Check measures approx. 8 by 3 inches and is illustrated with an engraving of a crossed fork and two knifes from the Meriden, Connecticut Cutlery Company. The check is dated March 1, 1872 payable in Four Months and Due to the Southington Cutlery Co. on July 4, 1872. The check is signed by J. B. Bradley, Treasurer. On the back it is endorsed by J. w. Gridley, Treasurer of the Southington Cutlery Co. There are three beautiful blue Washington U. S. Internal Revenue Stamps affixed on the back. The check was printed by E. B. & E. C. Kellogg Litho. Co. Of Hartford, Conn.
