This woman is calm as she gazes directly at the photographer. She leans her elbow on a rustic prop chair, while holding in her hands a dark umbrella with a duck\'s head handle. Her curly hair is topped by a lovely hat, and her dress fits nicely.The card measures 3.5 x 2.25 inches, and image measures 3.125 x 2 inches.On reverse is printed:\"R.A. My mother was a photographer who collected antique photos of all types for years. As I am settling her estate, I will be listing these photos as quickly as I am able. There are hundreds of photos to go through, and I am trying to match any information my mother may have left with individual photos. Unfortunately, Mom had dementia at the end of her life and wasn\'t able to tell me much about her collection. She had done a lot of research into photographers and individual pieces in her collection, and often, but not always, filed her research with the photo(s). I search for more information on the internet and in history books, but it\'s a slow process and it will take me a long time to complete the sorting and selling process.I am always happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases, so please check out my other listings.
