Antique powder jar. Jess, American Arbitus by HM Brown & Bro. Co. 1900. This is a lovely glass bottle without flaw. The metal lid twists off, & has perforations to sprinkle out the powder. But the real star here is the label which is pretty stunning despite a good-sized shallow peeled off color. The label is expansive, wrapping almost all around the back & is so brightly colorful that it’s easier to focus on the charm, rather than the flaw. Lush greenery w/bundles of pink flowers on a creamy backdrop around a cameo image of a dark-haired beauty. 3.75 oz. 5” x 2.5” diameter. (See photos for specifics).
