Lot of 5 1940s Photos Navy Joke Cake “From The Halls Of Montezuma” for Marines:

Snapshot photos of 1940s Navy men in uniforms. Four of the five photos are of the group showing off a decorated sheet cake with an eagle, musical notes and the opening line of the Marine Corps Hymn, “From the Halls of Montezuma….” Two are identified as Bunker and Peterson. I am told that by an old marine that this struck them that it was some kind of joke made by the Navy guys to tease the Marines. These are original photos from the time period in decent overall condition. They may have creases, corner bumps, surface wear or marks. Please reference the photos for condition.
