Lot of 2 Antique Pewter Plates, English & German, 19th Century. This is a nice lot of two antique pewter plates with single reeded rims. One has an engraved name and date on the rim that reads, \"G. A. Poltunen - 1873.\" This plate has three impressed angel marks on the back of the plate. The maker\'s mark is too worn to read. The second pewter plate has the letters \"MM\", below crown marks, engraved on the top rim. The plate has almost entirely worn marks, that can\'t be read. I believe that this plate is probably English. This lot of two pewter plates is offered here with and a Buy It Now. Good luck!DIMENSIONS: The German pewter plate is about 13/16\" H. x 8 5/8\" Dia.. The English pewter plate is 9/16\" H. x 8 3/8\" Dia..CONDITION: The overall condition is good with a tiny hairline to the inner rim to the English plate, with some surface wear and denting. The German plate is in very good condition with four tiny dents tothe bowl with minimal wear, scratching to the surface.
