This lot of 11 vintage elementary class photos captures the innocence and joy of children during the 1950s and 1960s in Washington state. Some of the photos are black and white glossy photographs and some are color. Produced from 1955-1967, these original photographs are mostly by Yeager Portrait Studio or Leonardo Photography and are a rare find for collectors of documentary-style or school themed photography.

The photos are of the following classes: Outlook School Grade 5-6 Combination Class (1955-1956); 2 different classes from Outlook School Grade 5 (1956-1957); Outlook School Grade 6 (1958-1959); Comstock School Grade 7 (1959-1960); J.J. Browne School Grade 5 (1960-1961); J.J. Browne School Grade 5 (1961-1962); J.J. Browne School Grade 5 (1962-1963); J.J. Browne School Grade 5 (1963-1964); and Westview School Grade 5 (1965-1967).

The photographs are sold as a unit of 11. They were all acquired from the estate of Mr. Lloyd Williams who is the teacher in all of the pictures. Mr. Williams listed the students names in order on almost all of the photos. The 1955-56 picture of grade 5-6 at Outlook School has 2 prints.
