Antique Mt Washington Satin Glass Small Lobe Shaker, C.F. Monroe

This is a mold blown satin glass small lobe shaped saltshaker hand painted by the Mount Washington Company. It’s edged in peach with hand painted enamel flowers encircling it, circa: 1896 – 1906. It has a period lid that is easily screwed on and off, but it has a dent on one side, and the silver top has been cleaned. The glass is damaged under the lid, but the enamel has little to no wear. It measures 2" in diameter and 1 ¾” tall.

Antique Mt Washington Rare Satin Glass Hand Painted Shaker, C.F. Monroe

This opalware saltshaker has a satin finish with subtle green shading at the top and bottom and features simple hand-painted flowers by C.F. Monroe. It was made in the late 1800's, by the Mt. Washington Glass Company. The shape resembles Dithridge’s bulge bottom. It has a period lid and is in excellent condition for its age, glass is damage free, and enamel has little to no wear. It measures 3” tall and 2” wide.

Antique Wave Crest Opal Ware Tulip Saltshaker, C.F. Monroe

This opalware saltshaker is one of the few Mt. Washington/Pairpoint made shakers without a satin finish. The transfer-ware floral decorations have not worn off the glossy finish. This piece was made between 1894 and 1903 and still has its period lid, that screws on and off easily. The shaker in excellent condition for its age. The lid has a small dent, but the glass is damage free. It measures 2 ½” tall and 2” at its widest.

Antique Wave Crest Opalware Scroll & Leaf Hexagon Saltshaker, C.F. Monroe

This opalware saltshaker was made by Mt. Washington Company between 1898 and 1904 and is considered rare. The shaker Is decorated with embossed scrolls on the lower half and hand painted flowers in the upper half. Unfortunately, the painting is quite worn, but it still has its rare period lid. Glass is damage free. It measures 3” tall and 1” wide.

Antique Wave Crest Opalware Draped Column Saltshaker, C.F. Monroe

This opalware saltshaker was made by the Mt. Washington Company between 1901 and 1906 and decorated by C.F. Monroe. It has a satin finish with a light pink wash on the bulbous base and the top trim. The floral transfer decorations on the base are still sharp and colorful. The glass is damage free, and it still has its original lid that works well. The shaker measures 3” tall and 1” wide.

Antique Wave Crest Opalware Scroll Wave Saltshaker, C.F. Monroe

This tall, bulbous, tapered satanized opalware shaker with a yellow tinted background contains a dense, complicated scroll in raised relief on the base. There is an area of smooth in the center for the application of the transfer ware, floral decoration, which is also surrounded by scrolls. Circa: 1899 – 1904, glass is damage free, and the shaker is 3 ½” tall and 2” wide.

Antique Wave Crest Opalware Sash Saltshaker, C.F. Monroe

This Victorian opaque saltshaker was made by the Mt. Washington Company between 1897 and 1899 and decorated by C.F. Monroe. It has a satin finish with a light peach wash on the background with floral transfer decorations in the middle. It has a sash of irregular scrolls encircling the middle of the shaker. The glass is damage free, and it has its original lid that works well. The shaker measures 3” tall and 1” wide.

This Victorian opaque saltshaker was also made by the Mt. Washington Company between 1897 and 1899 and decorated by C.F. Monroe. It has a glossy finish on the sash area and satin on the lower area. The transfer ware is faded, but the glass is damage free and the period lid is in good condition and works well. It measures 3” tall and 2 ½” at its widest.
