This unique lot of vintage tools comes from the collections of my father and mother, each item holding a story of its own. These tools were found inside an old tackle box, but instead of fishing equipment, it contained curious medical supplies, including hook knives. My father once mentioned that these were remnants from the Vietnam War, though his exact words escape me now. Growing up, these items fascinated me as they sat in a spare room alongside his books, clock parts, and other intriguing pieces.
One particular knife stands out to me, as my research suggests it may be a field medical knife from World War II. While I can't confirm this with certainty, it makes sense given its place in my father's collection.
I'm offering this lot for sale as I embark on a new adventure, embracing a minimalist lifestyle. These tools have been cherished, but it's time for them to find a new home where they can be appreciated as much as I have.
