I am a collector! In the 1950s I started saving the charms from 1 penny gum machines. I think most of these charms are from the 1950s to 1970s. As you can see, there are hundreds of charms in my collection—too many to count! I assume after more than 60 years, some of them are very rare and could be valuable. I took separate pictures of some to help date the collection. Davy Crockett was popular after the movie came out in 1954. The 5 plastic coins are old time baseball players. I remember some of these charms are from Dairy Queen, in addition to penny gumball machines and Cracker Jacks.
