This vintage lot includes two (2) hard to find Mid-Century Marcia Ceramics of California Western Wagon Wheel Pottery Ashtrays. These handmade ashtrays are a great addition to any Western Americana collection & measure approximately 5" in diameter X 5/8" tall. The provenance of the ashtrays is not available, but they were made by Marcia of California USA in Los Angeles who started in the early 1940's - unknown period. The intricate design of the wagon wheel and the Western Americana culture make these ashtrays a unique and valuable addition to any collection. They are perfect for anyone who appreciates the artistry of handmade pottery and the history of Western Americana.
Both are in excellent condition with no chips, nicks, scratches, crazing or cracks (the underside has some imperfections in the smoothing but they both sit flat & level). Each weighs a little over 9 oz. prior to packaging.
