Lot/2 Small, Vintage ROYAL DOULTON TOBY MUGS: LONG JOHN SILVER & DICK TURPIN:

These are 2 vintage, Royal Doulton villains character (Toby) mugs, both in excellent condition and used only as decoration. One is Long John Silvera Treasure Islandpirate character by Robert Louis Stevenson with a parrot for a handle. It was made in 1951 as # D6386. It is about 4\" tall and his name is etched into the bottom in the back, though it is painted over with glaze so it is hard to see. The other mug is the Dick Turpinwith a horse for a handle! He was a real person and Highway Man (a man who held up travelers). It was made in 1969 as # D6535. It, too is about 4\" tall and in excellent condition.
