Lladro Angel Boy Head with Wings
Vintage 1971-1974 - Small - Beautiful
In my research I\'ve dated this beautiful Lladro figurine to 1971-1974, which is when this particular blue Lladro signature was used. This palm-sized cherub is in excellent condition. There is a hole for hanging him vertically if desired, and his sweet head is turned slightly to the side and down. Please examine the photos carefully to understand the angle at which he was created.
I am not a Lladro collector at all, but this little angel absolutely captivated me because he reminds me of memento mori; of life, the afterlife, eternity and humanity. The expression of peace on his face is stunning.
I found three of these angels together and am keeping one to treasure myself.
