Up for sale is a LARGE ABSOLUTLY BEAUTIFUL RARE Volkstedt German Dresden lace figurine of a mother and 2 daughters and little frolicking goat. This stunning piece stands an impressive 8.5 inches tall and approximately 9 inches long. They are all wearing ruffled lace dresses in pink and cream. All 3 have tiny delicate applied porcelain flowers with leaves scattered throughout their dresses. They have pink lace off shoulder necklines on their dresses. The one little girl is wearing a bonnet and the the other little girl has delicate applied porcelain roses in her hair. The mother has one applied porcelain rose in her hair. They have PERFECT OUTSTRETCHED arms and fingers. There is an adorable little goat jumping in front. This figurine is made of solid porcelain and porcelain lace. This piece has the Volkstedt mark on the back of the base. It is from my parents private collection and is in OUTSTANDING CONDITION! The only flaws I see is a small chip in the lace on the back bottom of the mother's dress see pic 21 and at the back bottom of the little girl with the hat dress it looks like someone possibly tried to add a flower...see pic 24. This piece has so many beautiful ruffles I personally cannot tell if there are any other chips but PLEASE review all of the pictures because they are part of the description and you can make your own decision.
