This antique mid 20th century 1946-1953 or so Lefton cream and sugar set is preowned and in good and acceptable condition. They are not perfect but they truly are amazing to be in such good condition after these decades. This set is very pretty and has been well taken care of. There are no chips, cracks, crazing or stains. There is some flea biting and light scratching. The pair are mostly matte finished and have gold gilding on the top and bottom rims and handles. The hand painted flowers are pink to light purple in color and have white details with a moriage effect. The handles are fabulously designed and have so much character.Both are hallmarked on the bottom, the sugar bowl has no sticker, the creamer has the Lefton red and gold foil sticker as well as an additional gift store sticker from Shank\'s gift shop in Salinas, Kansas. The gift shop sticker is torn a bit but is covering most of the Lefton sticker. The measurements are approximate and are as follows: Sugar Bowl = 2 & 5/8\" tall (lid included) x 3 & 3/4\" wide (handles included) and the bottom base is 1 1/2\" wide. It is approximately 1 & 3/4\" deep. The Creamer = 1 & 3/4\" tall x 3 & 1/2\" wide (handle included) and the bottom base is 1 & 3/8\". It is approximately 1\" deep. Conditional issues are some worn gold gilding on each piece, though most is intact, there is one tiny spot on the creamer that appears to be a flea bite on the outside and a few marks on the inside lid that could be tiny bites as well.This is some very light surface scratching and rubbing of the gold gilding from use and wear. This is an elegant miniature, micro, tiny or very small sized creamer and sugar set for small one or two servings and looks great for company or a breakfast in bed tray. They have a true cottage garden vibe and they are a wonderful collectible and home decoration for the kitchen and dining areas.
