This elegant octagonal cobalt blue trinket dish is from Le Grand Hotel Paris, France. It measures approx. 4 inches by 4 inches and has such a deep, rich, almost purple-blue color with the Le Grand Hotel Paris printed on it. The luxury 5 Star hotel itself was built in 1862 in the heart of Paris. This ceramic piece is not from 1862 but I do believe it to be vintage. It does show some wear but does not have any chips or cracks. The quarter is for scale only and is not included in the sell of this item.
