Circa Late 20th Century.
Made by local artisans using abundant Veta vera grasses to weave lovely patterns and colors of maroon, navy and natural.
The handle and hinges have been wrapped with leather for durability.
This basket would look beautiful displayed on a mantel or table or used for its functionality.
