This impressive Western Cowboy Santa by renown artist Pam Schifferl has many amazing details - from his Red Cowboy Boots, Chaps decorated with silver-colored Conchos, gold-colored SC belt buckle and a Western saddle of leather with wood stirrups. The Cowboy Santa is carrying his lariat and chili peppers. He is standing in front of a barbed wire fence with Saguaro Cactus, Prickly Pear Cactus and Tumble Weeds completing the picture of the American West. This Large Santa measures approximately 16 in tall x 11 in wide x 6 in deep and weighs 6 lbs.Pam Schifferl is a 3rd generation folk artist that learned the craft from her grandfather and father. Her father is Lou Schifferl a well-know Wisconsin decoy carver whose decoys are famous around the world.A number of years ago Midwest of Cannon Falls created a line of small Christmas ornaments as part of their folk art gallery. The designs were taken from the artwork of Pam Schifferl and rendered in high detail in resin from Pam Schifferl\'s original carvings.This Western Santa is a rare large figurine cast in resin from the original wood carving.
