For sale is a handsome, vintage porcelain jar or vase...this Arita, Japanese-made vessel was created circa first half of the last century...in very good condition. Height is about 9-1/4\" and the diameter approximately 10-1/2\". It has a large presence. Quite heavy for its size. Milky bluish-white porcelain ground with raised decoration of a contorted tree and two cranes, one silhouetted against a peach-shaped (and colored) sun? moon? Exquisite artistry. Signed on the underside. Artist unknown. (Forgive the unclear photo...the signature is just as hard to read in person. Also the orientation of the mark may be incorrect.)
