Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a fun vintage hanging light fixture that was apparently removed from an ice cream parlor. Circa '60s. It has a Panton vibe to it. Materials: Metal. Color: Dark Orange. Uncertain as to the actual maker - there are no labels or tags present. Would look great in a restaurant or shop setting with high ceilings!
NOTE: We have a second matching fixture in a lighter orange color (see last photo that is accompanying the listing for reference only). It will be listed for sale separately. This listing is for the darker orange fixture only.
Measurements: Including the vertical drop metal tube, approx. 82" tall x 24" wide (diameter of the shade at the bottom). The shade is approx. 12" tall.
Condition: The fixture is in decent condition, but not perfect. The round metal dome shade is slightly out of round in a few spots at the opening edge (see photos). The material feels as though it is maliable enough to finesse it back into shape. It never bothered us, so we left it as we acquired it. The shade also shows areas where there are light scratches, blemishes, scuff marks, etc. Nothing overly major, but being mentioned for accuracy, so please examine the accompanying photos. The electrical wiring appears to be original, and is in good condition - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas to the wiring. The fixture is in fully-functioning, working order. We always recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the lamp prior to long-term use, just to be safe. Being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please offer with confidence.
Due to the overall size of the fixture, the listing is for local pick-up only. If you are insistent on shipping, we would be amenable to disassembling the vertical rod from the shade, but it will probably still be rather costly to ship.
