Works: Ricordo di Venezia 1880 - Giacomo BROGI (1822-1881) - started photography in 1856.
He opened his first studio on Corso Tintori, Rome, in 1864.
He traveled to different parts of Italy and then went to the Middle East in 1868,
especially in Palestine, Egypt and Syria.
Giacomo BROGI worked in association with the Photographic Society of Italy.
His studios were in: Florence. Via Tornabuoni 1.
Naples. Via Chiatamone 19 bis - Rome. Via del Corso 419.
After his death, his son Carlo (1850-1925) took over
and sold his own photographs as well as those of his father under the trademark
“Edizioni Brogi Firenze”.
